|Día 1: Cusco / Km 106 Chachabamba / Wiñaywayna / Aguas Calientes
Traslado desde el hotel a la estación de Poroy a las 6:50 AM, vamos a tomar el tren hasta el Km 106. Desde este punto vamos a protagonizar nuestra caminata, visitaremos el Grupo Arqueológico Chachabamba (2170 msnm) A continuación, caminaremos hasta Wiñaywayna (2650 msnm) por 3 horas aprox. (Box lunch). En la tarde nos adentraremos hacia Inti Punku, donde tendremos una espectacular vista de Machupicchu, después de eso seguiremos hasta llegar a Machupicchu, pero sólo por un momento, porque entonces vamos a Aguas Calientes en bus. Después de tener la cena pasaremos la noche en un hotel.
| Día 2: Aguas Calientes / Cusco
Tomaremos un autobús desde Aguas Calientes a Machupicchu a las 5:30 am, donde tendremos una visita guiada en Machupicchu (2 horas aprox) y algo de tiempo libre para tomar fotos y subir a Wayna Picchu o caminar en Machupicchu. Después llegaremos en bus al pueblo de Aguas Calientes donde tomaremos el tren Poroy, en clase mochilero (3:30 hrs aprox) . A continuación, bus desde Poroy a Cusco (00:20 hrs. Aprox).

Maximum weight of luggage to be carried by porters: 6.5 Kilos per person, Extra porters are available at an additional cost.
Sleeping bags are available for rent, at about $15 per day
Not included:
- Accommodation in Aguas Calientes or Machupicchu
- Lunch and dinner on the last day: after the guided tour at Machupicchu, you can enjoy free time to further visit the ruins and choose to have lunch either in Machupicchu or in Aguas Calientes at your own expense. Arrival in Cusco is estimated after nightfall, dinner being at your own expense too
- Visit to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes: a relaxing way to end-up the trek while you’re awaiting the return train to Cusco, only 10 minutes from the village center, entrance fee is s/10.00 (Peruvian Soles). Towels can be hired in Aguas Calientes.
- Tips
What to bring:
A mid-size backpack, Thick cotton Socks , Sleeping Bag , Bandana , Rain wear (a large rain poncho), T- Shirts, Flash Light and batteries, Shorts and warm trousers , Water Bottle, Water Purifying Tablets, Sweater and Jacket, Sun block, Hiking boots, Insect Repellent Towel and bathing suit, Coramina (Glucose), Hat, One complete change of clothing.
Suggested: Camera, binoculars, snacks, toilet paper, Peruvian currency and your own personal first aid kit and medicines.
Note: The guides will have basic medicines available included oxygen, but we recommend bringing your own ointment for swollen feet, sticking plasters, aspirin, etc.
