Camino del Inca a Machu Picchu

| Día 1: Comenzar El Camino del Inca
El Camino Inca a Machu Picchu está clasificado entre los mejores viajes de trekking del mundo debido a la exquisita belleza de su entorno natural. Estos incluyen diferentes zonas ecológicas desde altos desiertos andinos selva tropical. Después de este antiguo camino inca que tendrá que caminar a través de misteriosos sitios arqueológicos, medio cubierta por el crecimiento excesivo de la selva, que parece que los está descubriendo por primera vez y, finalmente, llegar a la ciudad perdida de los Incas, Machu Picchu. 
Comenzamos nuestra caminata cruzando el puente sobre el río Urubamba y caminar a lo largo de su orilla izquierda a medida que fluye al noroeste a lo largo del Valle Sagrado. Siguiendo la pista a lo largo de un terreno plano, llegaremos a Miskay, para luego ascender y finalmente ver, desde la parte alta de un mirador, la impresionante ciudad Inca de Llactapata. Continuar caminata a lo largo del valle creado por el río Kusichaca, subiendo gradualmente durante aproximadamente cinco horas hasta llegar a la comunidad de Huayllabamba. A lo largo de la manera en que disfrutar de espectaculares vistas de la cordillera del Vilcanota en el lado opuesto de la impresionante nevado Verónica. (A, C)

| Día 2: Segundo día del Camino Inca 
Vamos a tomar el desayuno temprano y comenzar la caminata hacia el punto más alto del Camino Inca, donde podemos ver diferentes zonas ecológicas y disfrutar de los cambios climáticos. Vamos a cruzar el paso Warmihuañusca a 4200 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Después del almuerzo continuaremos hacia el campamento en Pacaymayo. (D, A, C)

| Día 3: Tercer día del Camino Inca 
Vamos a caminar unos 45 minutos hasta llegar al segundo paso a 3850 metros sobre el nivel del mar, y volveremos de Runkurakay a lo largo del camino. También visitaremos el grupo arqueológico de Sayacmarca y luego ir a las ruinas de Phuyupatamarca. Después del almuerzo nos dirigimos a Wiñaywayna, un impresionante complejo Inca compone de un centro agrícola con numerosas terrazas, un sector religioso y un sector urbano. (D, A, C)

| Día 4: Llegada a Machu Picchu - tarde retorno a Cusco 
Después del desayuno, comenzamos en el tramo final de la caminata a Machu Picchu. Vamos a llegar a Intipunku o Puerta del Sol, donde tendremos una vista panorámica de la ciudadela de Machu Picchu. Posado 8.200 pies sobre el valle, que estaba oculta por montañas y selvas semitropicales de 400 años hasta descubierto por Hiram Bingham de la Universidad de Yale en 1911. Los arqueólogos creen que el Inca "Vírgenes del Sol" tomó refugio de los conquistadores españoles aquí. Después de una visita guiada, tomar el bus a Aguas Calientes para retornar a Cusco en tren. (D)

- Huayna Picchu entrance fee, according to the new government regulations if you want to climb this mountain you have to buy a new Machupicchu entrance fee which price is S/.170.00 Peruvian Nuevos soles.
- Visit to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes: a relaxing way to end-up the trek while you’re awaiting the return train to Cusco, only 10 minutes from the village center, entrance fee is s/10.00 (Peruvian Soles). Towels can be hired in Aguas Calientes.

WHAT WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU BRING
- A backpack with a change of clothes for the whole period of the trek
- Rain gear (jacket and pants if available) or rain poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Cusco)
- Strong footwear, waterproof trekking boots recommended
- Sandals or jogging shoes for a higher comfort while at camp
- Warm clothes, including jacket, fleeces. Thermal clothing is also recommended, especially for sleeping
- Flashlight/headlamp and batteries
- Camera, films and batteries (batteries consume more quickly under cold conditions)
- Hat or cap to protect you from the sun, rain and cold
- Sun block
- After-sun cream or hydrating cream for face and body
- Insect repellent – minimum recommended 20% DEET – no malaria risk has been reported
- Handkerchiefs
- Toilet paper
- Snacks: biscuits, energy bars, chocolate, raw fruits, muesli, etc. Please note that we do provide a daily morning snack and our meal service is very complete and well supplied. This recommendation applies for all clients being used to a specific snack, as it may happen that it is not included in our selection
- Water container and water for the first morning. Important notice: plastic water bottles are no longer allowed into the Inca Trail. Plastic water containers (ie. Nalgene) or metal ones are recommended
- Optionally: water- sterilizing tablets in case you pick up water from streams or rivers along the route. Otherwise, we provide filtered boiled water, which is safe to drink and has not reported any health problem so far
- Small towel
- Swimsuit (if you wish to go to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes)
